Each year, Dunelm stores have a "delivering joy" appeal where members of the public can pick a gift tag off a Christmas tree, and then donate the items on the gift tag to the charity or individual needing the items! It is a wonderful initiative and this year, the Rochdale store had us in mind here at the animal centre!
Gordon Riggs Christmas Fayre in Todmorden has quickly become a great festive day out for locals each year, and this year we are having our own stall at the event for the first time!

We are getting particularly high temperatures this year already and the height of summer is yet to arrive. Do you know how to protect your dog from the heat? If not, hopefully we can help!
Throughout spring and summertime, the wonderful birds in our countryside begin to hatch their young. As a result of this, there may be incidences where we see these young in our gardens and are unsure as to whether they are vulnerable and in need of support, or whether they are within a normal phase of their life and are best left without intervention. So how do we know whether they need help?
